Weight loss exercises
October 24, 2008
Aerobic exercises are the most common methods adopted for weight reduction. Exercises burn the excess fat in your body and strengthens your muscles. Any activity like walking, biking, swimming, climbing staircases etc comes in the category aerobic exercises. For resorting to these sorts of exercises you need not buy any equipment. The advantage is that these exercises can be easily made as a part of your daily routine. Aerobic exercises don’t require as much dedication as muscle building and are less tiresome.
Sometimes people get bored of their routine aerobic exercises simply because they are routine and stop doing them. And once stopped it is pretty difficult to go back to the old routine and the result is .. you will never stop growing fat. The solution for this sort of problem is cross- aerobic exercises. Cross-aerobic exercises means combining different aerobic exercises together. For example instead of walking for 60 minutes each day, you can do 20 minutes walking, 20 minutes rowing and 20 minutes biking. This combination of exercises makes your sessions enjoyable and hence you will do them more often. This increases the burning of fats in your body. Another benefit of cross- aerobic exercises is that it uses more muscles. For examples activities like jogging and biking causes movements to the lower body muscles while activities like rowing stimulates the upper body muscles. When these exercises are combined together the number of muscle movement in your body increases resulting in fast burning of fat, lowering your body weight. Moreover since the exercises are done to all the parts of your body, it shapes your body in a better way.
Each exercise is done to stimulate some specific muscles of your body. Continuing that same exercises for along time makes those muscles very strong while the other muscles stay weak. This is the reason why while some people can easily walk for miles become breathless after climbing up a staircase. It shows that those muscles which enable climbing cannot be made fit by walking exercises. Also prolonged exercises for just one part of your body may cause injuries. Here is the significance of cross-aerobic exercises. These exercises can be schedules as you like and they stimulate all the muscles in your body. They are more enjoyable and hence you will never be tired of doing them. Enjoying your exercise is one good thing for your health and that is what everyone recommends.
