    As you know over weight is a real serious problem. Not only that it makes your looks bad, but it can cause health disorders that can lead to death. Overweight is as a result of the accumulation of excess fat in your body. This is mainly the problem with our diet and lifestyle. At some situations people feel compelled to eat, and the best example of such a moment Is while partying. Parties are places where you will be compelled, if not tempted to eat a lot. But should you be afraid of partying?

    “Where there is a will there is a way”, all you need is the will, and to stick to it I have certain small partying tips for you.

    The first one is to break the rule of punctuality, arrive late for party. Because once the dinner starts, after one round at the buffet, everyone’s interest will be in mingling with others. So if you reach there late you can mingle with them instead of piling your plate with dishes. Also don’t forget that people will look at you accusingly if you eat lot after coming late and that thought will be enough to stop you from consuming extra carbs.

    The second thing is of course what if you are compelled by a friend to taste each dish. Well if its only once, fate what else. But if he or she continues to do so in all parties, it is time for you to be careful. It is always better to “Escape” from such people.

    Another tip is to be choosy while you eat. Don’t try to try out every dish. Leave the usual ones and it is time to check the new ones.

    Eat slowly. Take a lot of time for chewing the food. It is good for digestion and also controlling the amount of food you take. If you are eating slowly, you will know when you are full because it takes some time for the stomach to notify the brain that it is full. This way you can save the carbs you were about to eat.

    And the easiest way is to ask your friends to control you from eating a lot. If he or she thinks that you ate more, then allow then to remove those dishes from your plate. This is the best way I can ever suggest.

    And all the time keep in mind that it is always your necessity to keep your body healthy. Work for it and there is nothing hard to achieve.

    Some tips to avoid weight gain at work

    One reason of obesity is the work pattern of people. Those who sits in front of a desk for all the day, people like software engineers, accountants etc, tend to eat lot more unhealthy food items than those do manual labor. While sitting infront of our desk and thinking of our extra pounds the common excuse we make is the lack of time for physical exercises. But look closely to the problem, you can find enough time to do simple walking exercises at your office.

    One way to control your weight is to control your diet which is of course quite difficult for us office people. And in our offices we tend to eat more. One way to avoid this extra calorie of food is to drink enough water. Make drinking eight glass of water your daily routine. This will help to reduce your appetite. Sometimes thirst is mistaken for hunger and instead of drinking one glass of water you tend to reach for a snack. Another good thing about this drinking water is that it gives you a room for exercise. You walk to the water cooler and why cant you count it as an exercise. Spending total ten minutes for walking to the cooler can contribute lot to your body.

    Another method to control your over eating tendencies is avoiding those vending machines which provide you tasty but high calorie foods. Instead of going to the vending machine keep some low calorie snacks under your desk. This will considerably reduce the amount of high calorie food you are eating.

    Another tip is to utilize your lunch time for taking some long walks. Instead of going to the car and driving to the nearest fast food, why not spend some time (and calories) walking there. Climbing stairs and walking small distances during lunch time can benefit your body.

    Getting enough sleep is another good method of driving off unhealthy food habits. To stay awake we usually resort to less healthy foods that boost up our energy levels. But this is no good for our body. Get enough sleep and avoid eating too much high calorie foods.

    Make a note of anything you eat. Mark it in your diary. See that you eat only fresh and less calorie food. Studies show that stresses generated at work makes people eat more. Have you undergone such a condition? well to make sure I recommend you to note everything you eat in your diary
